In Jakarta you will find many ethnics of Indonesian. Javanese, Sundanese, Padangnese, Balinese, and aaaaalll of the Indonesian ethnics come together in Jakarta. For what? For work, for study, etc etc. Because people think that you can be anything in Jakarta. Yes some people who have high enough education, and have highly creativity to make money. Some people who doesnt have those, they just will end up with living in poverty.
Some student study in Jakarta to get better quality of degree. I think in every city has good quality in learning process. Just some people think in big city like Jakarta is best place.
Another than the people, Jakarta also the bussiest place. You know what? Here we are intimate with long traffict jam, crowded streets and many places. Just everything is crowded.
But that makes Jakarta is special. Neversleep city. I love to go out at night. Not for parties or clubs. But seeing the lights at night from the building or traffict sign, or even from lighten trees.
And I love Jakarta because you can find anything you want and need. Many malls, hotels, sights, groceries, markets (modern and traditional), street vendors.
As I told you, all ethnics are in Jakarta. So you can find all typical foods of all archipelago of Indonesia. Nasi Uduk, Rendang, Mpek-Mpek, Sayur Asem, those are food form many province of Indonesia that you can find easily in Jakarta.
The most famous in Jakarta is the monument of Indonesia, Monas (Monumen Nasional). This is a tower not the highest like twin towers in Malaysia, or luxurious like Eiffel in Paris. But it has many memories of Indonesian patriots. The lowest floor of monument is a museum of Indonesian history of war, and the uppermost is a floor where you can see around Jakarta. The top of tower is smoldering fire made from pure gold. If you want to know
Here the looks and description :
